Question 1

Which shower door type is best for a small bathroom?

Accepted Answer

Sliding and bi-fold doors are the space-savers — neither swings out into the room. Sliding doors need a wider opening (1000mm+) to work well; bi-fold doors fold inward and suit openings from 700mm. Pivot and hinged doors give the widest, most comfortable entry but need clear space in front of the enclosure.

Question 2

How do I measure for a replacement shower door?

Accepted Answer

Measure the opening width at the top, middle and bottom — old walls are rarely square, so use the smallest measurement. Shower doors have an adjustment range (usually 20-40mm) to absorb out-of-true walls; the product listing shows the min-max opening each door fits.

Question 3

Can I fit a left or right-handed shower door?

Accepted Answer

Most sliding, pivot and bi-fold doors are reversible and can be installed with the opening on either side. Offset quadrant and some walk-in designs are handed — choose left or right-hand entry to match your bathroom layout. Each product page states whether the door is reversible.
